Accreditation and Information center

On Wednesday 9th March, from10 am to 8 pm
The accreditation and information center is located in “Ciasa de ra Regoles”, in Corso Italia no. 69. It is one of the most important “civil” buildings in Cortina d’Ampezzo, next to “Comùn Vècio”. Since 1957, it has become the center of the “Regole d’Ampezzo”, the “Comunioni Familiari Montane” which have been running the area of Cortina d’Ampezzo for centuries. The building hosts the Modern Art Museum “Mario Rimoldi”.

Opening Ceremony

On Wednesday 9th March at 8.30 pm
The Opening Ceremony of the 13th European Company Winter Games will be held on the famous “Conchiglia” stage of Cortina d’Ampezzo, in Piazza Angelo Dibona.

Medal Ceremony

On Thursday 10th, on Friday 11th and on Saturday 12th March
At the end of each competition day, those sports and specialities that will have declared their winners and the relative ranking on podium will reach their medal on field.

Closing Ceremony

On Saturday 12th March at 6.30 pm
The Closing Ceremony will be held on the “Conchiglia” stage, in Piazza Angelo Dibona. At the end, the EFCS flag will be handed over to the representatives of the city which will host the next Winter Games.

Registration fee

The registration fee for the Games is €100 per person

The fee includes:

  • participation in a sport
  • public transport for free
  • welcome kit
  • participation in night events and in Medal Ceremony
  • 2016 CSAIn membership card
  • basic health care services

The registration fee shall be paid by 19 February 2016. It is compulsory to fill in the reason for the payment the PARTICIPANT CODE or the COMPANY CODE for multiple payments (in this case, please send an email with all the participants’ codes). The codes will be created by the informatic system during the registration procedure. The payment of the registration fee formalizes the registration for the competitions.

Cancellation policy

In case of renunciation of participation in the Games after 19 February 2016, there will be no refund.

According to EFCS custom, each participant travels and attends the Games under their personal and insurance responsibility. Participants must have:

  • medical certificate of fitness for agonistic activities
  • personal accident insurance policy
SKI-PASS

The Organising Committee has reached an agreeement with “Ski world Cortina” in order to get a discount on ski-passes for all the regularly registerd participants.
As far as the daily ski-pass is concerned, the participants shall go to the ski-pass offices of Cortina (for the alpine skiing) or to the offices of the Fiamesnordik sport center (for the nordic skiing), they shall show their badges and pay straight at the offices.
As far as the ski-passes which last 3 or 6 days are concerned, the participants shall include this option while registering for the Games and pay it along with the registration fee.

Alpine skiing:the skiing area of the Ski-pass Cortina also includes the area of San Vito di Cadore and of Auronzo/Misurina, with about 140 km of slopes in total.

Kids born after 28/11/2007, whose parents have paid the ski-pass, can have the ski-passes for free.
