Medical Requirements for participating in the European Company Marathon Championship 2018
IMPORTANT: all the medical certificates must be sent via email to [email protected] with the runner’s name and surname. A copy must be also given to the staff in order to receive the bib.
Please note that without the certiifcate the bib cannot be received.
INDIVIDUAL MARATHON (only for foreign athletes)
Individual marathon is organized according to the FIDAL (Italian Athletics Federation) and IAAF rulebook.
The foreign athletes in order to participate, must fall into one of the following categories.
a) Athletes registered with a foreign Athletics Federation affiliated to IAAF.
b) Athletes not registered with a foreign Athletics Federation (registerd with EFCS), but in possession of a health form issued abroad in accordance with the rules on health protection in competitive sports in force in Italy.
Only the marathon health form available HERE (certificate of eligibility for participating in a competitive athletics event) will be accepted.
INDIVIDUAL MARATHON (for italian and foreign athletes residing in Italy)
Individual marathon is organized according to the FIDAL (Italian Athletics Federation) and IAAF rulebook.
The italian athletes or the foreign athletes residing in Italy, in order to participate, have to get a medical certificate of eligibility for participating in an athletics event at a competitive level.
The certificate must be issued in Italy by a doctor with a specialization in sports medicine.
RELAY MARATHON (for italian and foreign athletes)
Relay marathon is organized according to the EFCS rulebook.
In order to participate, an athlete must be in possession of a health form issued abroad in accordance with the rules on health protection in non-competitive sports in force in Italy.
Only the relay marathon health form available HERE (certificate of eligibility for the practice of non-competitive sports activities) will be accepted.
